The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspection, service, repair, and maintenance of building components including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and more, ensuring minimal inconvenience and maintaining a safe and elegant estate. Pay: $ per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Possess and maintain miscellaneous hand tools needed for minor maintenance repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after work completion.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Communicate and work with third party vendors, including contacting the vendor(s) in an emergency.
- Electrical:
Interior and exterior light bulb troubleshooting and replacement; troubleshoot and replace dimmer switches, timers, receptacles, GFCI’s, breakers, light fixtures, ballasts, drivers, lamp sockets, and other electrical items; inspect and replace elements and fuses in hot water heaters; perform preventive maintenance inspections including EM generator testing. - Plumbing:
Upkeep, repair, and replacement of plumbing fixtures (toilets, faucets, valve cartridges, hose bibs, mixing valves, hot tub components, vacuum switches); rodding drains, plunging toilets/sinks, soldering, braising, PVC repair, valve replacement, pump repair/replacement, water filter replacement; preventive maintenance inspections of hot water heaters, pumps, septic field, potable water stations, etc. - General:
Miscellaneous repair of general building items such as door/window parts and lock repair, furniture repair, ceiling tile replacement, millwork repair, picture/painting installation, limited kitchen appliance repair, minor floor and wall tile repair/replacement, general fixture repair; inspect and repair general exterior and roof components. - Golf Cart Maintenance:
Occasional troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of miscellaneous golf cart items (tires, lights, cart chargers, etc.).

Education and Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational courses related to the position are preferred.
Must be able to communicate clearly with management, team members, and guests in an informative and consistent manner.
Mathematical SkillsKnowledge and understanding of basic math.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to think creatively to minimize downtime; troubleshoot systems, exercise good judgment, and make appropriate decisions based on job knowledge and company goals.
Physical Demands- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of temperature or weather.
- May be required to work long hours.
- Safely operate a golf cart or company vehicle.
Work primarily assigned at property locations, including interior and exterior of buildings, common areas, grounds, and trails. Location may vary across properties.
