The Role
  • Mobilise and demobilise blasting hoppers/spray pumps and encapsulations
  • Abrasive blast, ranging from a whip class SA 3 on ferrous and nonferrous substrates using both garnet and steel abrasives
  • Hand/Mechanical preparation of repair areas using orbital sanders and MBX's
  • Brush/Roll stripe coats as required.
  • Using mainly airless spray, apply up to 5 coat systems required by DFT's/specifications
  • Application of inorganic zinc's, epoxy zinc's, high build epoxies, antifouls and acrylic polyurethanes
  • Remediate areas marked up by quality inspectors to meet the requirements of client specifications
About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • 3 - 5 years' Experience with in the Industry (Preferred)
  • Airless and conventional spray and blasting experience
  • High Risk Work Licence – LF & EWP (Preferred)
  • Working at Heights (Preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen
  • Experience working with Marine vessels (Desirable)
