Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representatives and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial or industrial applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge, and fire pump systems.

• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and reference technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Work independently and maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Adhere to and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and read & understand all safety requirements of the company and the customer.

Required

• 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair of Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
• Retain any licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
• Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet; working within ducts, crawl spaces, or above ceilings.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.33 - 45.00 (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. Exceptional candidates with unique skills and experiences that exceed the typical profile may be considered for a higher range.
