Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representatives and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial or industrial applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge, and fire pump systems.
How you will do it- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and reference technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Work independently and maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Adhere to and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and read & understand all safety requirements of the company and the customer.
Required
- 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair of Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
- Retain any licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
- Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet; working within ducts, crawl spaces, or above ceilings.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.33 - 45.00 (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. Exceptional candidates with unique skills and experiences that exceed the typical profile may be considered for a higher range.
