To improve student achievement by performing a variety of advanced journey level skilled work in the maintenance, construction and repair of buildings and equipment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair low-pressure steam and hot water boilers and associated equipment.
• Help develop, implement, and perform a procedure for daily maintenance and preventive maintenance of boiler systems.
• Help develop, implement, and maintain a procedure for boiler preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Coordinate with contractors for repairs beyond in-house capabilities.
• Work under the guidance of a licensed boiler technician.
• Perform corrective and routine work on daily and emergency work orders.
• Work collaboratively with a large team of HVAC technicians.
