Overview
We are looking for a Steel Erection Foreman who will be responsible for the administrative and technical management of the installation of structural steel and miscellaneous metals work on project sites. The Steel Erection Foreman provides crew management and field technical direction and ensures adherence to contract requirements, safety and quality standards. The position requires comprehensive technical knowledge of the construction process and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Manage the administrative and technical aspects of installing structural steel and miscellaneous metals on project sites.
- Provide crew management and field technical direction.
- Ensure adherence to contract requirements, safety and quality standards.
- Perform tasks involving physical labor, including operating hand and power tools and heavy equipment, site preparation, layout, welding, erecting structural steel members, metal buildings, installing decking, stairs, railings, metal siding, and metal roofing.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of the construction process and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
