Essential Functions:
Installs, repairs and maintains meters, and collects revenue0
Physical Requirement &Working Conditions:
- Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work
- Communicates with individuals in person and utilizes all types of communication media
- Spends prolonged periods of time sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping and climbing
- Lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds in a team setting
- Sufficient vision is needed to inspect and repair intricate meter mechanisms
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- One year of experience in the repair or installation of mechanical devices or appliances
Equivalency:
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
