Carmel Landscapes is currently searching for self-motivated, high-performing general laborers that take pride in their work, values teamwork and has an eye for remarkable craftsmanship! This is an entry-level position with reduced responsibilities where candidates can develop skills in the green industry while getting paid to steward the land.

Schedule

• Full-time
• 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) (floating winter shift)
• General laborers are paid a premium to shovel in the winter
• Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Assist in landscape construction, landscape enhancement, or lawn care performing labor intensive tasks
• Operate hand and small power tools safely
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal communication
• Participate in teamwork with proactive initiative
• Execute material logistics to maintain project flow
• Maintain a clean safe work environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Positive attitudes and eagerness to learn (previous general labor or landscaping experience is beneficial, but not required)
• Ability to follow directions of management and work in a safe clean environment
• General knowledge of shoveling and hand tool use
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
