- Bachelor's Degree required with major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, criminal justice, criminology, theology, nursing, counseling, education, or another related social science or human services field.
- Minimum of two years of post‑secondary education or equivalent professional experience in a human services setting.
- Minimum of two years of direct service or case management experience within a community‑based, mental health, child welfare, or family support program.
- Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
- Must have acceptable PA State Police, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances.
- Must be able to identify with the agency's Mission Statement and support the agency's Core Values.
- Adapt hours to position needs; may need to work evenings and/or weekends, including providing on‑call emergency services on a rotating basis.
- Travel and work independently in clients' homes.
- Focus on empowering family members to achieve greater independence through skill building, development of positive daily routines, strengthening coping skills, and supporting individualized goals that reduce reliance on professional systems and services.
- Understand and implement the Family Empowerment Program’s developmental service model, including the three phases of intervention that require more intensive staff involvement during initial engagement and gradual tapering of services as families build skills, increase independence, and demonstrate the ability to meet their own needs.
- Hold families accountable to program handbook requirements, expectations, and established program rules while supporting engagement and progress toward individualized goals.
- Make day‑to‑day decisions regarding cases, keeping the Assistant Family Empowerment Director informed of high‑risk cases and pertinent issues related to clients and contracting agencies.
- Engage in goal‑oriented, purposeful, intentional interactions with clients.
- Provide on‑call services as assigned and develop crisis plans for assigned consumers.
- Implement evidence‑based assessments and interventions as directed and support fidelity to Family Empowerment service models.
- Maintain regular communication with the Assistant Director/Director regarding program operations, case flow, and identified needs or challenges.
- Provide direct services in alignment with Glade Run's mission:

- Participate in team meetings and contribute information related to service delivery, program trends, and family outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison with county Children and Youth Services (CYS) to support referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges in coordination with program leadership.
- Participate in communication with courts, schools, and community partners as directed to support continuity of care and service coordination.
- Attend community outreach and tabling events as requested to promote program awareness and strengthen referral relationships.
- Support maintenance of referral pathways and stakeholder communication by sharing updates and relevant program information with leadership.
- Support timely reporting, tracking, and documentation of critical incidents and unusual occurrences in accordance with regulatory and agency policies.
- Assist program leadership with follow‑up actions related to incidents, including gathering documentation and participating in review processes as requested.
