Dispatch Operations Coordinator

This position is responsible for managing drivers on dedicated lanes while also ensuring backhauls are consistently filled to maximize efficiency and revenue. Your primary focus is day-to-day dispatching and driver support, but your success in this role is directly tied to how well you manage and secure backhauls.

You will handle all normal dispatching duties and work closely with drivers, brokers, and customers to keep freight moving smoothly. This is a salary plus commission role, where strong planning and backhaul strategy directly increase your earnings.

• Dispatch and support drivers on dedicated regional lanes
• Handle all standard dispatching responsibilities including routing, check calls, problem solving, and schedule changes
• Plan, secure, and manage backhauls to maximize revenue and driver productivity
• Monitor loads, ETAs, and delivery milestones in real time
• Communicate daily with drivers to manage HOS, delays, and on-road issues
• Work closely with the brokerage team to cover backhaul freight
• Build efficient routes that reduce empty miles and downtime
• Track equipment and driver availability
• Ensure accurate paperwork, BOLs, and ELD compliance
• Support new driver onboarding and set clear expectations for routes and performance

This role includes commission based on backhaul performance. The better you manage backhauls and keep trucks loaded, the more you earn. This is a performance-driven role with strong upside for someone who knows how to plan smart and move freight efficiently.

• 2–3 years of dispatching experience, asset-based or brokerage preferred
• Experience managing multiple drivers and regional operations
• Strong understanding of DOT and HOS compliance
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve quickly
• Clear, confident communication with drivers and internal teams
• Comfortable using TMS and ELD systems
