As our U.S. operations continue to grow, we are looking to add an additional Dispatcher to support our Florence, Kentucky terminal and expanding regional operations throughout the Midwest.

This position is ideal for an experienced transportation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with drivers and customers, and can make confident operational decisions under pressure. We are looking for someone who understands the realities of trucking operations and takes pride in keeping freight moving safely, efficiently, and on time.

Florence, Kentucky.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday – Full Time. Occasional after-hours or weekend availability may be required for operational emergencies or urgent customer situations.

The Dispatcher plays a critical role in the day-to-day coordination of drivers, equipment, freight movement, and customer communication. This individual will work closely with Operations, Safety, and Drivers to ensure service expectations are consistently met while maintaining compliance with DOT and company requirements.

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout regional and local operating areas.
• Monitor freight movement and proactively address delays, service concerns, or operational issues.
• Communicate directly with drivers regarding schedules, routing, customer expectations, weather, traffic, and operational updates.
• Work closely with customers to provide service updates and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Ensure driver Hours of Service compliance and support adherence to DOT and company safety requirements.
• Assist with load planning, route optimization, trailer utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate operational records, dispatch notes, and shipment tracking information.
• Respond to operational challenges including breakdowns, late deliveries, weather disruptions, or customer escalations.
• Support after-hours operational coverage when required during emergencies or high-volume periods.
• Collaborate with Safety, Payroll, Maintenance, and Operations teams to support overall terminal performance.

• Previous experience in trucking dispatch, transportation operations, or logistics coordination preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, driver communication, and customer service expectations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and transportation compliance considered a strong asset.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, dispatch software, TMS platforms, and operational systems.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team-oriented environment.
