The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations at The Corken Steel Products Company by accurately pulling, staging, receiving, stocking, and verifying materials for customer pickup, delivery, and branch operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, this role helps maintain safe, organized, and efficient warehouse conditions while providing professional service to customers, vendors, and team members.

Detail Orientation - Pulls, verifies, labels, stages, and documents materials accurately.

Customer Service - Provides courteous and professional service to customers, vendors, drivers, and coworkers.

Productivity - Works efficiently to support timely pickups, deliveries, receiving, stocking, and warehouse organization.

Adaptability - Responds to changing warehouse priorities, customer needs, weather conditions, and overtime requirements.

Safety Awareness - Uses equipment, lifting practices, PPE, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Cooperation & Communication - Communicates order, inventory, return, and safety issues clearly to supervisors and team members.

• Accurately pull, stage, verify, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers, vendors, drivers, and team members.
• Assist with loading and unloading Fabrication, HVAC equipment, Roofing supplies, and related materials.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory, transfers, and special-order shipments.
• Prepare and stage materials for outbound deliveries or customer pickup.
• Complete shipping, receiving, return, and customer/vendor signature documentation accurately.
• Process return materials according to company warranty and branch procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, tow motors, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders when authorized.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, staging, loading, and storage areas.
• Follow company safety policies, PPE requirements, equipment rules, and housekeeping expectations.
• Participate in company-sponsored product, vendor, warehouse, and safety training.
• Communicate shortages, damaged materials, inventory concerns, order issues, or safety hazards promptly.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills aligned with Corken's warehouse career track expectations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, HVAC, Roofing, or building materials experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and work in varying warehouse and outdoor conditions.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work overtime when business needs require.
• Ability to follow procedures, complete documentation, and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• On-the-job product, vendor, process, and safety training required.

• Warehouse, distribution, building materials, HVAC, or Roofing experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with strong detail orientation and ability to complete required on-the-job training may be considered.
• Forklift, tow motor, pallet jack, or material-handling experience preferred.
