EXCEL Group is a renowned industrial contractor with a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering exceptional projects. We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Storeroom Clerk for a maintenance position to join our team at our Industrial job site in Calvert City. (Westlake Facility). This full-time role involves key responsibilities in inventory control, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
This position offers valuable hands-on experience in an industrial setting at the Westlake Chemical facility. While this is a full-time role with EXCEL Group, many of our team members gain insight into plant operations and develop skills that can open doors to future opportunities in the chemical industry, including operator roles.
Responsibilities:- Receive incoming materials and verify contents
- Prepare and ship outgoing products
- Enter data accurately to issue and receive stock
- Issue inventory to internal departments or customers
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory organization
- Deliver stock to various on-site or local locations
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Keep the storeroom clean and organized
- Provide professional customer service to internal staff and vendors
- Proficient in computer use, including data entry and inventory systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical labor
- Previous industrial and/or farm experience preferred
- Must pass a physical screening
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must pass a background check
- Steel toe shoes will be required
