As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures, integrating technical expertise with compassionate patient care. You’ll play a vital role in early detection and diagnosis, helping patients navigate their health journey with confidence and support.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet patient and physician needs.
- Perform high‑quality mammographic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to optimize diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with MQSA and ACR standards, including quality control documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required;
Mammography certification within 6 months of hire. - Oregon Radiologic Technologist license through the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and BLS certification required.
- Prior experience in mammography preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
