Starting Wage: $18.00 hour

• Conduct overall cleaning of guestrooms as assigned including, but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, mirrors, windows and glass doors (including tracks).
• Remove and replace all dirty towels and bedding, making beds according to hotel standards.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms including showers, sinks, toilets and floors.
• Empty trash from trash cans, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee station, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting.
• Vacuums carpet in hallways, lobbies and elevators.
• Sanitizes phone, door knobs and light switches.
• Replenishes all supplies in guest rooms.
• Follows job tasks issued by Housekeeping Team Lead.
• Responds to and notifies Housekeeping Team Lead of all guest requests or complaints.
• Reports all guest room maintenance and inventory deficiencies to Team Lead.
• Addresses guests with a positive upbeat attitude, providing the highest level of guest service according to TRCR’s service commitments.
• Maintains housekeeping rooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Other duties as directed by management.

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. Regularly exposed to dust and fumes from cleaning chemicals while moving between hot and cold environments.

This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to blood borne pathogens.

• Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
• Must work cooperatively, with a positive attitude in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
• Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours.
• Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance as needed.
