Job Description
Peace Health Peace Harbor is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. Peace Harbor is a Critical Access Level IV Trauma Center located on the Oregon coast in the picturesque community of Florence, Oregon.
The Emergency Department is staffed by Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, RNs and ED Techs. The position requires four (10 hour) day shifts per week, with a schedule that includes weekends. The role will work closely with physicians.
Location & ServicesPeace Harbor offers many services not often found at a hospital of its size, including:
- Respiratory therapy services in‑house 24/7
- CRNA onsite with services available 24/7
- Radiology in‑house 3 days/week with 24/7 XR, US, CT (128‑slice scanner), MRI, Echo, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Stress
- General and Orthopedic Surgeons available 24/7
- Hospitalist in‑house 24/7
- Telehealth and direct access to specialty consult
Emergency Medicine experience is preferred but not required.
Primary FocusPrimary focus in the ED, with potential cross‑coverage in an Urgent Care/Walk‑in Clinic as needed.

Florence is located on the Oregon Coast at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, offering a lifestyle inspired by the great outdoors. The area features beaches, sand dunes, lakes, hiking trails, historic downtown, the 40‑mile Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, and fishing on the Siuslaw River.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary depending on years of experience: $148,678 - $177,819
