Position Description

The Office of Access, Opportunity and Community Engagement (OAOCE) at the Darla Moore School of Business invites applications for a temporary, full‑time Engagement Programs Coordinator position. Reporting to the Senior Director for the Office of Access, Opportunity and Community Engagement, the primary responsibility for this position is providing comprehensive support to OAOCE. Responsibilities include ensuring that staff are well‑supported and equipped to execute daily functions directed by their supervisor.

The coordinator will support initiatives such as the Rising Scholars Program, The Business Success Academy, SC Business Week, the SC Power Forward program, and related programs. Key duties include collecting, maintaining, and reporting data; organizing initiative components; supporting living and learning community programs; coordinating marketing efforts; managing incoming communications; and overseeing procurement of supplies, equipment, and services. The role also covers general office support tasks such as scheduling, coordinating appointments, meetings and events, managing communication, preparing documents, arranging travel, and tracking budgets.

Qualifications
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
