Mailroom Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Services Specialist for an onsite role. This position is responsible for handling various mail functions, including processing, preparing, and scanning both physical and electronic mail, as well as managing outbound packages. • Open, prep, and scan incoming mail
• Prep incoming electronic mail (E-Prep/FTP)
• Process outbound mail using postal equipment (mail inserters, postage meters, computer)
• Handle outgoing overnight packages as needed
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to stand or sit for long periods
• Basic computer skills
• Sound decision-making ability
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to handle varying assignments
• Capacity to learn multiple policies and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Previous Experience

• Mailroom, post office, or Fed Ex experience preferred (not required)

• Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

  • Thursday: 9:30 am – 8:00 pm
  • Friday: 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
