- Review and analyze requests for Informal Conferences, verifying that the requests are in compliance with the Rules and Regulations.
- Schedule informal conferences to create and manage dockets.
- Process settlements and update award information within the case management system.
- Generate Commission fines and apply payments within case management system.
- Answer incoming calls. Research and respond to inquiries from the public, staff, claimants, attorneys, and provide claim file status.
- Process Letter of representation
- Process requests for copies and payments for copy service
- Alternate to the Mail room clerk and receptionist
- High School Graduate/ GED and related experience OR equivalent workers' compensation experience in lieu of or in conjunction with education requirements.
- Ability to learn and apply rules and regulations.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume working environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's Degree and/or related workers' compensation experience.
- Position may require overnight travel.
- Position may require employees to work overtime.
