Project Controls Senior Engineer

Holder Construction is an ENR Top 30 Construction industry leader with operations throughout the United States. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Controls Senior Engineer to oversee the successful execution of our construction projects. We are currently seeking highly motivated construction professionals to join our company on a large, complex project in Florence, SC.

• Collaborate and execute project cost projections/forecasting, including close coordination with MEP subcontractors
• Integral part of the internal and external cash flow of the project
• Ensure a timely and accurate owner billing process, establishing processes for reviews and billing submissions.
• Ensure timely submission of changes and compliance with prime contract requirements.
• Establish and oversee processes for internal and external change reviews.
• Understand necessary reporting and metrics established to monitor the health of the change management backlog, emphasizing quantity, magnitude, and aging.
• Assist in a document control process for written correspondence, drawings, and specifications.
• Generate deliverables that meet all prime contract reporting requirements and manage their timely submission.
• Assist the overall project in developing processes and procedures for various workflows, including RFIs, Submittals, Material Status tracking, Design Management, Risk Management, Quality, and Closeout.
• Monitor established processes to ensure project expectations are met.
• Monitor and adapt processes for project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• BS in Construction Management or related construction degree with a minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience
• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Possess outstanding communication, time management skills, and computer skills.
