The Director of Operations will provide leadership across multiple projects and field teams, with responsibility for:

• Leading and developing Project Managers, Superintendents and field leadership.
• Driving performance across safety, schedule, productivity, quality and profitability.
• Overseeing manpower planning and allocation of field resources across projects.
• Supporting projects from preconstruction and planning through execution and closeout.
• Monitoring project financial performance, forecasting, productivity and operational risk.
• Partnering with estimating and preconstruction teams on constructability, scheduling and execution strategy.
• Building strong relationships with clients, EPCs, general contractors and key stakeholders.
• Establishing consistent operational and field execution standards across the business.

Project & Construction Experience

The successful candidate will have a strong background delivering complex industrial mechanical construction, including experience across areas such as:

• Power & process piping
• Boiler and chiller installation
• ASME code repairs and alterations
• Pressure vessels and piping
• Specialty welding
• HRSG and gas turbine erection
• Rotating equipment
• Equipment moving and setting
• Heavy lift and rigging
• Furnaces, heaters and ductwork
• Storage tanks and drums
• Structural steel

We are looking for an established construction leader with:

• Extensive industrial mechanical construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of process piping, welding and mechanical equipment installation.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects, teams and field leaders.
• Proven responsibility for safety, labor productivity, schedules, cost and profitability.
• Strong manpower planning and field resource management experience.
• Experience delivering technically complex, schedule-driven projects.
• A track record of developing and holding operational teams accountable.
• Experience with in power generation, pharmaceutical, high-tech or advanced manufacturing construction.
