Oceana Gold’s Haile Gold Mine is seeking an experienced Manager – Projects Surface Processing Infrastructure to lead the planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of major surface processing infrastructure projects.
You will have the opportunity to influence major project outcomes while working alongside internal stakeholders, engineering and construction partners, contractors, suppliers, and operational teams to deliver infrastructure that supports Haile Gold Mine’s operational performance and life-of-mine objectives.

This is a 2 ‑year fixed-term position, providing an exciting opportunity to play akey leadership role in the delivery of the Paste Plant, Leach Circuit upgrade, and associated surface processing infrastructure at Haile Gold Mine.
This position will be accountable for safely progressing projects from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning, and transition into operations. The successful candidate will provide strong project leadership while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, and stakeholder requirements are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, timely, and effective delivery of the Paste Plant, Leach Circuit upgrade, and associated surface processing infrastructure projects.
• Develop and oversee Project Execution Plans, ensuring clear scope, milestones, deliverables, governance, and accountability.
• Manage projects through the full lifecycle, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, operational readiness, andclose-out.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, and internal project resources.
• Maintain effective project controls covering schedule, cost, procurement, change management, risk, quality, and progress reporting.
• Oversee contractor selection, tendering, contract award, and contract management for assigned work packages.
• Monitor project schedules, critical path activities, milestones, interfaces, and recoveryactions.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, commitments, and variance reporting.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities across safety, environmental, technical, schedule, cost, quality, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
• Review engineering designs and technical work packages to ensure they are fit for purpose, constructable, maintainable, and aligned with operational requirements.
