General Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Print Shop Manager, the Graphic Designer & Print Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and producing print jobs using a variety of printing and finishing equipment. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing graphic design support for the Print Shop and the Marketing & Communications Department.
- Coordinate, schedule, and produce print jobs, providing customers with information on print capabilities, cost-saving options, and turnaround times.
- Assist the college’s Marketing and Communications Department with graphic design tasks, including pre-press tasks and designing flyers, brochures, official College documents, and more.
- Operate color copiers, color plotters, and various printing and finishing equipment, including drill press, folder, cutter, binder, collator, inserter, and tabber.
- Serve as the backup support for the addressing machine, postage/mailing machines, and general mailroom duties.
- Maintain accurate budget and billing records, ensuring all copy jobs and paper orders are properly entered in the Monday system for monthly billing.
- Maintain adequate printing and paper supplies and ensure all print shop equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and operational.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Print Shop Manager.
Minimum Requirements: A High school diploma and experience in graphics.
Preferred Requirements: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, and/or 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, print shop operations, or other relevant experience. A Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or similar).

Work Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Additional Comments: This position requires extended periods of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating printing equipment in a print production environment with exposure to noise, paper dust, and ink.
