Orthopedics - Hand Surgery Physician

Location: Situated outside the capital of SC, this vibrant city continues to grow into a major diverse and urban area with a bustling downtown area. Conveniently located near I-95 and I-20, take a quick drive to escape to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Columbia.

Opportunity: Seeking a Locum Orthopedic Hand Surgeon
Start/Duration:
Ongoing coverage needed but one week of coverage per month

• Coverage needed 1 week a month (Monday Friday)
• Coverage will include outpatient clinic and hospital coverage, NO trauma call and NO weekend coverage.
• Schedule will be:
• Tuesday and Thursday Clinic 8 am 5pm
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the OR from 7:30 am 5:00 pm with additional add on surgeries possible
• Volumes:
• # of inpatients rounded on per day: 0-5
• Expected Surgical Volume on OR days: 5-12 cases per day
• Expected # of Patients per day in Clinic: 20-40 per day
• NO APP support, but we do have MA s and Cast Techs to help in the clinic
• EMR = EPIC
• Must be comfortable with hand trauma, but we do not do replants or oncology for ortho
• Age range: 15 and up

• BC or BE Ortho
• SC Medical License
• CSR
• DEA that can be permanently registered in SC

Compensation:
