Position Details:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science subjects to middle school students, developing and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans, and fostering a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver prehensive science lesson plans that align with state and district standards.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and facilitate their understanding of scientific concepts.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning, encouraging student participation and fostering a culture of curiosity and exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and support school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in science education.

Required

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a Science-related field.

Required Licensure:

• Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate with a middle school science endorsement.
