Industrial Electricity Professor

Responsibilities

Maintains a high level of excellence in teaching and interacting effectively with students enrolled in courses within the program area. Prepares materials needed for course instruction and testing. Keeps student records and adheres to course schedules. Uses learning management systems to communicate with students, faculty, and staff. Participates in the collection of student learning outcomes. Assists the Industrial Electricity Program Director with timely notification of any shortfall in supplies or equipment needed for lab instruction.

Conducts lectures, discussion, and other teaching activities. Relates instruction and material to course objective. Provides students with course syllabi and correlates grade assignment with skill and course competency. Submits grades, reports and records in a timely manner. Remains current in field. Must have a broad knowledge of the Industrial Electricity industry with specific knowledge in the areas of teaching Industrial Electricity.

This position will be located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.

• An associates degree in Industrial Electricity or related field and three (3) years of direct practical experience in the area of Industrial Electricity. Must have a broad knowledge of the Industrial Electricity Industry with the specific knowledge in the area(s) of Industrial Electricity.
• A bachelors degree in Industrial Electricity or related field and three (3) years of direct practical experience in the area of Industrial Electricity. Must have a broad knowledge of the Industrial Electricity Industry with the specific knowledge in the area(s) of Industrial Electricity.
