What we’re seeking:

• Current teaching certification in General Education (out-of-state licenses welcome, provided reciprocity can be secured prior to the August start date)
• Previous experience teaching elementary students, ideally in a 4th grade classroom
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Adaptability, openness to travel, and a willingness to embrace new teaching experiences
• Proficiency in designing and delivering lessons across core subjects, including math, reading, science, and social studies
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating effective lesson plans and adapting instruction to meet each student’s needs
• Delivering dynamic instruction in all core subject areas for 4th graders
• Administering assessments to monitor academic progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborating with colleagues and engaging with families to support student growth
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
