Job Description

This role will allow you to work with 6th through 8th graders, with a caseload of approximately 35 students at an engaging school environment. The assignment spans from August 6 to May 28, with a steady Monday through Friday schedule running from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Active state certification as a Special Education Teacher.
  • Prior experience working with middle school students, preferably grades 6-8.
  • Familiarity with current IEP processes and differentiated instruction.
  • Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with diverse abilities.
  • Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and specialists.
