Summary:

This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide design and support our manufacturing clients next generation of products. The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost, reliability, and schedule commitments.

• Typical responsibilities include structural analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience working in a cross functional team environment.

• Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design)
• Creo / Pro Engineer
• Mechanical structural analysis with Ansys or other FEA Software
• Design documentation with Mathcad
• Hands‑on testing experience
• Strong communications and leadership ability
• Experience with test and measurement equipment
• Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, information systems or a related field required
• 1-4 years experience required
