Mechanical Engineer

This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide engineering support for Electro-Mechanical components. The engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, integrating new component designs into existing systems, and addressing turn backs while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.

• Typical responsibilities include engineering calculations and analysis, component design, cost analysis, test and documentation of a wide range of elevator components.
• The candidate must have a strong background in mechanical engineering, ability to work in a cross‑functional team environment, and ability to deliver assigned commitments on time.

  Engineering problem‑solving skills.
• Component and system modeling and design with Creo (Pro Engineer) or similar software.
• Engineering calculations including Mathcad or similar software.
• Mechanical structural analysis including Ansys or other FEA software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Proficiency working in product development processes.
• Proficiency in using PLM/PDM systems capable of storing documentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• BS degree in mechanical engineering or MA/MS degree with 1 to 3+ years of work experience.
