Electrical Engineer III
LocationFlorence, South Carolina (Onsite)
Position SummarySeeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to support the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and components used in advanced electromechanical products. This role requires strong expertise in electrical transformers, electric motors, motor drives, and printed circuit boards (PCB), along with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize electrical systems and components for electromechanical products.
- Support the specification, selection, and integration of:
- Electrical transformers
- Electric motors
- Motor drives and power electronics
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
- Perform circuit analysis, troubleshooting, validation, and root‑cause investigations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product development and production support.
- Conduct design verification and validation activities, including laboratory testing and performance analysis.
- Analyze field issues and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability and performance.
- Participate in component selection, qualification, and supplier interactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and quality guidelines.
- Lead technical discussions and maintain alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, presentations, and engineering documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and product development.
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Electrical Transformers
- Electric Motors
- Motor Drives / Power Electronics
- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and electromechanical systems.
- Experience with schematic capture and electrical design tools.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, root cause analysis, and failure investigation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
