Groundwater Superintendent
Salaried: $80,731.76/year; 2080 hours/year

* Associate's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two (2) years of college education with emphasis in Chemistry, Biology, Technical Engineering or a closely related field, supplemented by ten (10) years of experience in water production plant operations, some of which have been in a supervisory capacity
* Must possess "B" Water Treatment Operator's license or obtain upon hire or promotion in the timeframe prescribed by Sout Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (SCLLR)
* Valid South Carolina driver's license
The Groundwater Superintendent supervises and performs skilled technical work in the daily operation of the City's offsite groundwater plants and related facilities; prepares and maintains required records and reports, and performs related work as required. Work includes the coordination and supervision of daily groundwater production/plant operations and equipment maintenance and repair activities, as well as the supervision of subordinate technical and maintenance staff.
This position reports to the Water Resources Manager.
