Project Engineer, Manufacturing
Otis is seeking a Project Engineer, Manufacturing to join our team in Florence, SC. In this role, you will provide advanced manufacturing engineering support for the Florence manufacturing facility, leading strategic initiatives related to process optimization, equipment implementation, capacity expansion, and new product introduction. Working independently, you will drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance. As a key technical resource, you will collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, testing, and engineering teams to enhance manufacturing operations and support business objectives.

What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (BS/BA).
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering preferred.
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated project leadership and implementation responsibility preferred.
- Proven experience leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and value stream mapping.
- AutoCAD and 3D modeling experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive change and continuous improvement.
