Director Relationship Manager-TMT Gaming; hybrid

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States, including California, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, North and South Carolina, Boston, Florida, and Arizona.

The First Citizens Bank Technology, Media and Telecommunications Team specializes in delivering financing solutions and advisory services for middle market telecommunications, media, entertainment, and technology businesses. Our products and services support the development, expansion, equipment purchase, and strategic acquisition needs of our clients.

We have a deep understanding of the special financing needs of the gaming, entertainment, media, and sports industries. Our team of highly experienced professionals has the dedication and know-how to provide strategic solutions for a wide variety of corporate needs.

This director-level originations position, focusing on native American and commercial gaming/casino sectors, reports to the Managing Director and Group Head of the TMT team. Location would center around one of our corporate office locations.

• Responsible for loan originations, business development, and relationship management in the native American and commercial gaming/casino industry and related sectors.
• Engage in the gaming/casino landscape; established relationships and transaction experience relevant to this sector are beneficial.
• Experience with transactions in casino/router operator and related sectors.
• Thorough understanding of credit analysis, financial modeling, structuring and negotiating deal terms, and the ability to communicate credit decisions to senior management.
• Capable of running/ coordinating the structured finance process from initial client discussions through closing.
• Experience with cross-sell of all commercial banking products (treasury management, hedging, capital markets, foreign exchange).

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales, or High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of experience in those functions.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8+ years of experience in originations in a leveraged finance environment and 5 years in gaming, entertainment, media and sports industry.
• National and/or regional client coverage.
• Strong credit and underwriting skills.
• Cross-selling experience of treasury management, hedging, capital markets, foreign exchange.
• Effective writing and communication skills.
• Formal credit training.

Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
