Finance Systems Manager; Oracle

We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a Finance Systems Manager to serve as the functional owner of Oracle Financials within the Accounting organization. This is a high-impact role that partners closely with Finance and IT to drive system enhancements, strengthen financial controls, and ensure Oracle continues to support business growth across a complex global environment.

• Serve as the Finance organization's functional lead and subject matter expert for Oracle Financials.
• Own Oracle Finance configurations, including GL, AP, AR, Auto Invoice, account structures, payment terms, and master data governance.
• Partner with Finance and IT to define business requirements, prioritize enhancements, troubleshoot system issues, and oversee Finance-related system changes.
• Lead Finance-owned system projects from requirements gathering through user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure Oracle configurations support accounting accuracy, SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Monitor automated financial processes, including foreign exchange (FX) rate loads, and resolve system issues impacting financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes through automation, standardization, and continuous system enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting Oracle Financials within a Finance or Accounting environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GL, AP, and AR.
• Experience leading Finance-owned ERP projects, system enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and SOX compliance.
• Experience supporting global, multi-entity, multi-currency organizations is a plus.
• Ability to effectively partner with Finance leadership, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
