The WCC is looking for an eager person to fill an entry-level position.

You will learn and gain experience in SC state government and workers’ compensation.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will answer phone calls, research and respond to inquiries from the public, staff, claimants, attorneys, and carriers for the department.
  • You will be responsible for processing motions and other requests from stakeholders.
  • You will assist with reviewing evidence for appeals, entering attorney protection requests, and updating the attorney database.
  • You will document files and maintain records within the agency database.
  • You will assist with reserving hearing sites statewide.

A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
