Job Description

As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, your role will be pivotal in supporting our family owned pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of prescriptions. Candidates should have experience operating in a high-volume environment, with over 1000 scripts processed daily. We welcome applicants with proficiency in any pharmacy software and a strong aptitude for learning new processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently process prescription orders, working closely with licensed pharmacists.
  • Prepare and dispense medications, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to inventory management, including receiving and restocking medications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and offering valuable health and medication-related guidance.
  • Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and patient well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth daily operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) in the state of South Carolina or eligibility for certification.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, in alignment with our pharmacy's operational needs.
