Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Florence, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with on-call rotation and every third weekend

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures in a sterile environment.

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for IR interventions.

• Perform imaging support using fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound guidance.

• Monitor patients during procedures and assist with radiology-related monitoring and stress testing.

• Maintain sterile technique, infection control standards, and radiation safety practices.

• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.

• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.

• ARRT (R) certification required.

• BLS certification required.

• Valid South Carolina radiation/technologist authorization (SCQRSA) required.

• Experience assisting in general IR procedures.

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and radiation safety.

• Ability to support adult and geriatric patient populations.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
