Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Florence, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with on-call rotation and every third weekend
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures in a sterile environment.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for IR interventions.
Perform imaging support using fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound guidance.
Monitor patients during procedures and assist with radiology-related monitoring and stress testing.
Maintain sterile technique, infection control standards, and radiation safety practices.
Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience.
ARRT (R) certification required.
BLS certification required.
Valid South Carolina radiation/technologist authorization (SCQRSA) required.
Experience assisting in general IR procedures.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and radiation safety.
Ability to support adult and geriatric patient populations.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
