Physical Therapist

Position

Physical Therapist (PT) – Full‑time. 8‑hour shifts in the critical-illness recovery environment at Regency Hospital, Florence.

$34–$54 per hour, depending on years of experience.

Physical Therapists (PT) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment every step of the way during a patient's recovery from critical illness. You will conduct systematic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient‑specific and facility‑wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervise PT and PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions, as needed.
• Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in‑services.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion of BLS within the first 90 days of employment.
