• NBSTSA Certification required.
• Must be familiar with Robotics, Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma.

• Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Wear appropriate surgical attire.
• Have a working knowledge of sepsis and aseptic technique provided through orientation.
• Check cleaning supplies each morning.
• Wipe down lights, booms, and tables prior to first case.
• Takes dirty linen to soiled utility room.
• Performs between case room cleaning and terminal cleaning according to standards.
• Transports patients and beds to the Holding Room / Operating Room.
• Demonstrate proper  safely transport patients.
• Run errands in a timely manner.
• Obtain supplies, equipment or medication in a timely manner.
• Help transfer patients to and from the operating room table.
• Assist families to consult rooms when no volunteer is available.
• Stock areas assigned by supervisor.
• Cleans sub‑sterile and ante areas.
• Maintain stock of oxygen tanks and carbon dioxide tanks.
• Perform weekly cleaning of x‑ray aprons and storage rooms.
• Assume personal responsibilities for professional development and continuing education.
• Respond to co‑workers in a helpful, courteous manner.
• Respect, at all times, the confidentiality of patient records and facility operations. Use complete discretion when discussing patient matters.
• Night shift, every weekend; evening/night shift; call as scheduled.
