Must-Have:
Must have recent critical care experience.
Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital.
Must hold all required certifications at the time of start.
Description:
This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
The shift schedule is three 12-hour night shifts with holiday rotation.
On-call requirements are not needed for this role.
Every other weekend is required for this position.
The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience.
First-time travelers will not be accepted.
Local candidates are not accepted for this position.
All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
The facility reserves the right to cancel one shift per two weeks.
The hospital has a total of 396 staffed beds.
Scrubs are required in Caribbean Blue color.
The charting system used at the facility is Epic.
All candidates must be open to accommodating the schedule requirements.
Candidates with various certifications and skills in respiratory care are desired.
Experience with a range of patient ages is preferred, including neonates and geriatrics.
Candidates must demonstrate competency in critical care respiratory procedures.
All applicants should be aware of emergency response team assignments during hurricane season.
Modules will be included in non-billable hours and are to be completed pre-start.
