Job Description & Requirements
American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Florence, South Carolina.
We are looking for an experienced MRI Technologist with 3+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification for weekend day shifts. The position starts on 03/09/2026 for a duration of 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, and is a travel assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a tertiary care setting with 283 staffed beds.
- Perform MRI scans and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Work a schedule of 3×12s:
Friday 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM–9:00 PM. - Weekend shifts are required, with some on‑call responsibility.
- Use Philips Ingenuity MRI equipment; no floating to other units or sister facilities.
- Use Epic as the EMR system (prior Epic experience is a plus).
- Wear black or teal scrubs.
- Complete required modules prior to start.
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November).
- Free parking available.
- Acceptance of first‑time travelers is possible depending on experience.
- Must not have been a permanent or PRN staff member at the facility within the past year.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission; extended or holiday RTO may delay approval.
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Current BLS certification (AHA only).
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- Experience operating Philips Ingenuity MRI equipment.
- License required if applicable.
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility (no locals accepted).
- Must provide Social Security Number and valid Driver’s License for consideration.
