American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and RTR‑M mammography certification for a robust breast imaging department assignment.

• Position is in a breast imaging department with 4 mammography rooms and a mobile van.
• Performs 15-20 exams per technologist per day.
• Procedures include screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, and Bone Density (DXA) exams.
• Uses digital imaging equipment with PACS for image management.
• Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30.
• 13‑week assignment.
• Verifies patient identity with two identifiers, ensures exam accuracy, and documents order clarifications.
• Maintains all required documentation according to MQSA standards.
• Ensures high quality images are forwarded to radiologists for interpretation.
• Provides age‑specific care and maintains patient confidentiality following hospital policies.
• Orientation and training provided before independent work.

• Minimum of 1 year mammography technologist experience required.
• Current RTR‑M certification is required.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• License required if applicable.
• Must be able to perform all mammography exams independently after orientation.
• Experience with PACS preferred.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
