Well-established South Carolina law firm based in Florence is looking for an Associate. This role is hosted by Victoria Casal. Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year.

• Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense and commercial disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage cases with increasing independence while working under the guidance of senior attorneys

• Commercial litigation

• Medical malpractice defense
• Environmental law matters
• Mediation and alternative dispute resolution []

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
• 1 or more years of experience in litigation or a related practice area
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and strong work ethic
