Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense and commercial disputes
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and factual investigations
Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Manage cases with increasing independence while working under the guidance of senior attorneys

Practice Areas May Include

Commercial litigation
Insurance defense
Construction defect litigation
Product liability
Medical malpractice defense
Environmental law matters
Mediation and alternative dispute resolution []

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
1 or more years of experience in litigation or a related practice area
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment
Professionalism, sound judgment, and strong work ethic
