As our Parts Coordinator in Florence, SC, you'll be a point of contact for customers and employees with their parts needs while also supporting day-to-day service operations. In this role, you'll process parts orders, maintain inventory, assist with work order management, assist with dispatching, and help ensure our technicians have what they need to keep customers up and running.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Process parts orders received by phone, email, or in person from customers and employees.
- Review orders for accuracy, including pricing, quantities, and part numbers.
- Verify parts availability and coordinate timely order fulfillment.
- Research parts and prepare quotes for customers and service technicians.
- Receive incoming parts shipments and help maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with warehouse and service van inventories.
- Support the service department by dispatching technicians and assisting with daily scheduling.
- Prepare and review work orders prior to invoicing.
- Work closely with technicians, sales, and other departments to ensure efficient branch operations.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient parts department.
- Answer incoming calls and provide prompt, professional customer service.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in parts administration within the material handling industry required.
- Previous service coordination or dispatch experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of lift truck and/or aerial equipment parts.
- Ability to accurately process parts and service paperwork.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory or service management systems.
