• Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a related field supplemented by ten (10) years of professional and managerial experience in utilities operations

• Master's degree and strong experience in a regulatory environment preferred

• Valid South Carolina driver's license

The Director of Water Resources plans, directs, and supervises water programs and operations of the Utilities Department including Water Production and Distribution Operations. The Director of Water Resources ensures regulatory compliance for all local, state, and federal laws. Work includes planning, coordination, and oversight of Water Production and Distribution administration and operations as well as the supervision of subordinate professional, technical, and support staff.

This position reports to the City Manager.
