Responsibilities
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy and roadmap initiatives.
  • Execute handoffs for new product introductions, part and technology transfers, new process introductions, and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time, technology selection, tooling, fixturing, programming, quality plan, and run‑off of initial production sets.
  • Execute hands‑on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand‑off to the production team.
  • Manage project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and Lean support downstream industrialization activities.
  • Drive new equipment calibration procedures.
  • Write, execute, and validate standard equipment specifications for the site.
  • Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste while coaching others.
  • Engineer, standardize, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness.
  • Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development.
  • Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with the wider team on breakthrough initiatives.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited university or college, OR a High School diploma / GED with at least 4 years experience in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment.

  • Experience with machine safety systems design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in NX and Vericut.
  • Experience in CNC equipment setup.
  • Proficiency in product and process inspection techniques.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage several projects simultaneously.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This position is 100% onsite at GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington Road location.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export‑controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay range: $91,700.00 – $ with geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
