We're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in an LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) facility in Florence, SC. The right RN should have at least 1 year of recent experience in a Long-Term Acute Care or similar high acuity setting.
Responsibilities- Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results
- Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management
- Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans
- Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates
Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time - Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Acute Care setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.
