Description:
The position requires an operating room nurse to work day shifts.
The nurse will participate in surgeries and collaborate with the surgical team.
The role involves intermittent on-call duty every 3rd to 4th weekend.
Experience in a Level 3 trauma center is preferred.
The nurse will not float between service lines or sister facilities.
BLS certification is required for this role.
Applicants should be well-rounded in various surgical competencies.
All requested time off must be specified at the time of application.
The facility prioritizes non-local candidates.
Travelers should be aware of potential assignments during emergency response situations.
The facility has a total of 276 staffed beds, and scrubs will be provided.
The facility uses an electronic charting system.
Candidates must meet all compliance requirements prior to the start of the contract.
