Med Surg RN (Flex Pool) - Night 4x12-Hour Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available: 3x12s or 4x12s Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM). Weekend shifts required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Med Surg RN will provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. The nurse will work within a team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, including important medical data and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergency situations and apply critical thinking to care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
• Current SC RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
